Jumble Spoiler – 10/11/12

English: Beatles' Zebra Crossing in Abbey Road...

English: Beatles’ Zebra Crossing in Abbey Road, NW8 Outside EMI’s Abbey Road Studios in London is the most famous zebra crossing in Britain. The photo of the fab four crossing the road here in 1969 provided the album cover for ‘Abbey Road’, the last album they recorded together before their split in 1970. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Visual Description:  The Fab Four, forty something years ago.

Clue/Question:  The photo shoot for The Beatles album cover turned the street into . . .

(Great clue word jumbling, and another two new clue words for the ralis95 database, in “royal” and “gashed”.    I liked the answer letter layout.  No giveaway.  I think people of a certain age had an advantage in solving this answer.  People older than 65, and younger than 50, might have been hard pressed to recognize the setting of Abbey Road.  I guess it’s a good thing I fall somewhere between those numbers.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

    Good morning
I found this jumble answer to be very difficult, normally I get the answers within 5 minutes. After struggling with it, I finally googled the Beatles and that is when I hit upon Abbey Road. I knew the 2nd word was “road”. I remember seeing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show when I was a teenager. Yikes, I am not only “old” I “cheat”, too!
All in all, good puzzle, take care and keep up the good work and “good” words (do good and be good)!
