Clue/Question:  When her daughter made a cake for her birthday, she thought it was . . .

Answer:  VERY SWEET

(Happy Birthday to all moms who are turning, or are about to turn, 70!!!  No new clue words, today.  Good jumbling, though.  Great answer letter layout.  The cartoon is a little heavy handed with visual clues to the answer.  Two bags of “SUGAR”, two frosting bags, and frosting on the mom’s finger?!?!  I think I became a diabetic just doing this Jumble!  LOL!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

English: This is one of the digitized images of the original painting American Gothic that Grant DeVolson Wood, a master artist of the twentieth century, created in 1930 and sold to the Art Institute of Chicago in November of the same year. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

All the really good ideas I ever had came to me while I was milking a cow.”   —   Grant Wood

(The American Gothic guy!  Not the kind of quote you think of when it comes to an artist, but I guess he painted what he knew best, and that was mainly rural America.  Just looking at this quote, I would have thought it was made by Will Rogers, or Josh Billings, or Mark Twain.  Ya just never know!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
