(Certainly NOT open to the suggestions of someone who still sees them as a cute little five year old!  Some day the teen will experience – for herself –  what it’s like, to watch her baby become a young adult . . . before their time.  It is not easy, and boy . . . does it ever happen too fast!  That one car commercial nails it, by showing the very concerned dad cautioning what looks like his five or six year old daughter, before handing her the keys to the car, and poof!  She becomes this sixteen/seventeen year old young lady, about to drive off . . . on her own.  We all kind of fool ourselves when we look in the mirror, but parents almost always see their children as little kids.  It’s very bitter-sweet.  I better stop this shit, before I make myself cry.

No new clue words, today!  Stand down, ralis95!  And though, most the clue words were nicely jumbled – “pairim”?  REALLY??? – I didn’t struggle to get any of them.  I think the answer letter layout really made up for the fairly easy clue words.  Neither of the answer words were hinted at in the answer letter layout.  I felt strongly that the second word was MINDED, and after writing out the remaining letters . . . I got the pun.  I loved it.  I think this was a very satisfying Sunday Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
