(Very good! Nice and long, and clever. I didn’t struggle too long with the answer, because I employed the ralis95 method of laying out the answer letters by groups of consonants and vowels. Initially, I thought the first word was going to end in ED, but for some reason the N, D and R kind of stood out, and then I noticed the U. That’s when I thought of an undertaker. They don’t really use that word much anymore. Not unless your a 6 foot 10 inch scary looking wrestler with the WWE, that is! Nowadays they’re all funeral directors!
No new clue words, today. I bet “upend” gave some of you some trouble. This time I was able to get “poetic” without too much trouble, and “absurd” is one of my all-time favorite words. I really appreciated the standard answer letter layout. I might not have gotten the answer without playing the ralis95 way! Great cartoon!
