(That Bill Cosby is such a card! Sure, the “stupid ones” are the ones who should take the advice. But . . . they’re stupid! It goes in one ear and out the other, they forget it, or they ignore it. Maybe they think they know better? The imparter of the wisdom realizes this, so he/she tells those who they think are smart enough to accept, and act on, the advice. The saying is an alliterative way of saying: Ya know, if you’re smart . . . But, guess what? There certainly is no guarantee that the person imparting this wisdom is wise. A lot of complete idiots think they know it all, but . . . they’re idiots! Some nefarious types actually enjoy giving out misinformation, either for their personal gain, or just to mess with you. And, there are also times when wise people have bad info, through no fault of their own. But, if they were truly wise you’d think they’d vet the info before passing it on. Bottom line? It’s all a bit of a crap shoot when someone offers you advice. You always have to consider the source, then use your own noodle. Always assess the risk and the reward before taking action. relax and sedates you. So if Natalie wood took the pill with or without knowing she took it ,why would a man give her such a pill ?

Wow, Mike! You really went back a ways to make a comment. But, I guess in light of the recent Bill Cosby guilty verdict, I can see why you’re going there. I really don’t have any knowledgeable answers for you. The #MeToo movement has become a bit #MeTooMuch for me lately, so I didn’t follow the Cosby trial all that closely. And, I was not aware of the assertions that Cpt. Davern was giving out quaaludes that fateful night. I just heard about the renewed interest of Bob Wagner being suspected of killing Natalie. I’m interested in the case, but just not read up on it, I guess. Sorry, bud. If what you’re saying is true, I’d say that there might be reason to suspect that Davern had sex with Natalie Wood, after drugging her, and then maybe tossed her overboard. Maybe the pills didn’t work strongly enough, and she threatened to tell her husband??? It would all be conjecture on my part. But, I seriously doubt Davern would have had sex with all of them.
With Bill Cosby, assuming he IS truly guilty of the formal charges and all the allegations, I’d have to say it’s kind of like the same thing with serial killers. After getting away with it once, then twice, they become more emboldened, so they go on to do it more and more. In their heads, it might even seem normal and acceptable to them. I’m no shrink, so I’m not qualified to give a professional opinion, just a layman’s opinion.
