“Counsel woven into the fabric of real life is wisdom.” — Walter Benjamin
(This one gave me fits. I almost had to ask you guys for a starter clue! The V was always a strong contender for E, but there wasn’t a whole lot to work with here. After playing around, I finally went with the INTO THE and IS WISDOM, then it really started to come together. Very tough. The author name also made it tough. This is his first cryptoquote since I’ve been posting the spoilers. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

I totally agree, unusually hard today! V = E was how I started, but I wanted to make the second word “WOMEN”, an error which held me up a long time!
The dichotomy between the laughably-easy Jumble and the wretchedly miserable Crypt today was a real eye-opener. That’s the hardest one we’ve had in ages. It usually takes me longer to type the Cryptogram into a convenient web-based letter substitution site (so I don’t have to look for a pen) than it does to solve the thing. Not today…it was a real “as the sun sinks slowly in the west” ordeal.
