(I think this one might have made a good Unclerave’s Wiseguy of the Day contest.  Good thing for you guys that I already got that nonsense out of my system!  Great jumbling of the clue words.  We actually had two brand new clue words today, in “scoff” and “monkey”.  The ralis95 clue word database is going to burst its borders!  I really enjoyed the answer letter layout.  Nothing obvious.  Nice cartoon, with an early ’80s looking lawyer.  Sort of reminiscent of the Gary Cole character in Office Space . . . minus the glasses, of course.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(I not sure, but I think Mr. Lucado is paraphrasing another quote about conductors.  Does anyone know how it goes, and who said it?  Anyway, just like a few days ago, we had another *Art Shapiro moment* with today’s author.  A few days ago it was Elias Canetti, and the issue was that the first letter of the last name could also have been: J, V or Z, for those not familiar with the quote’s author.  Today it was the last letter of the first name.  I was thinking female author, so I went with May.  Had I been thinking guy . . . then I would have jumped all over Max.  Hmm!  Maybe it was just me?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
