Visual Description: Right before the graffiti arrest!
TOMHN = MONTH, ETONK = TOKEN, LAWPOL = WALLOP, SPITYG = PIGSTY — Giving us: NTHTENWAOPIT
Clue/Question: After finally finishing the mural, the artist wanted to do this.
Answer: PAINT THE TOWN
(If this were the Sunday Jumble maybe they would have squeezed in the word RED! This looks like something that might actually be. Is this the latest, and greatest, Chicago tourist attraction, guys??? I’d pose for a vacation snapshot, standing in front of it!
None of today’s clue words are new, but they were all jumbled very well! I usually have no problem with the five letter jumbles, but both “month” and especially “token” required thought. “Wallop” came easily to me, but I had to think to get “pigsty”. Those compound words always trip me up a little. I really enjoyed the answer letter layout, too. Nothing about it was obvious! I really hope that this mural exists, or is slated to exist. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

No problem with the Jumble. But I spent too much time on the Word Game, because you left the S off of doldrum.
I left off the S . . . for SAVINGS!

Yea, token held me captive for a bit — but then had the “aha” moment. So easy…why does it sometimes seem so hard!!?? Pigsty—I was not at all sure I had that one right, but went with it anyway! This morning I got this picture of all of us Jumble players bent over their newspapers trying to unjumble words! Pretty neat.
You’er always one day behind todays puzzle. We need the answer to the 26th. Thanks
H.,
Not sure how you’re searching this blog, but the Jumble for 7/26/12 was posted around noon yesterday – a good 7 hours prior to your comment. Noon is a little late, for me, but it’s not all that bad. Hope you have better luck finding the 7/27/12 spoilers!

I find that when I look for you on the same day I can’t find you til way later than you posted. I look for the day before and then I look at your recent posts and thats where I find the todays. Maybe that is HL’s problem too.
Unc — maybe he is referring to me — I’m usually behind!!
I dunno, Anonymous. Maybe if you (and HL) subscribed it would make a difference. Then you’d get an e-mail, notifying you of the new post. My Stats Page always indicates a healthy number of hits per post, so most people are getting through, some way!

“A healthy number of hits” — ohhhh! I like that!
