LOYAL ACING PUZZLE SOLVER. UNCLERAVE. From Michael Bergeron

LOYAL, ACING, PUZZLE, SOLVER = LACNUEVER = UNCLERAVE
Jumble and Cryptoquote are the only puzzles I do daily. They appear in the Tampa Bay Times (formerly St. Petersburg Times).
Nice Blog. I am liberal and in tune with your philosophies.

Unc- loyal acing puzzle solver final UNCLERAVE I loved it KUDOS to ralis95. Nice way to end the week… Enjoy Wimpy
Michawl B., Ron, an Anon and Wimpy all came up with the correct answer! Thanks for playing, guys! You’re all winners!
Some other Anonymous – somehow – came in on a post/spoiler from December, and suggests I should update. Not sure what he/she means. Hmmm!

Not as much response as we had hoped, but for a first try it was fun. The idea of using words in a sentence-like sequence to produce a written clue guide as well as offering actual letters for the answer is something I’ve been playing with for awhile. This one was simple, but maybe future ones will be harder. Also notice that the letters LVROSE produce SOLVER and LOVERS, which I didn’t think about in the creative process. Isn’t there a rule, though, that says plurals are not to be part of puzzle solutions – to save me from my own duplicates database??
At first I had “alloy.” Didn’t know if ralis was metallic.
MY ruling is No Plurals! So, you’re safe!

DOH! Looks like you were busted on YALLO, ralis95!

With regards to ALLOY and LOYAL, I believe the term is: “Hoisted by my own petard!”
Also, in trying to beat the dinner bell, I sent my first and longer message without adding my ralis95 address, etc. Hence the message from Anonymous, which was really from me.
I knew it was you, and didn’t even notice the Anonymous. No biggie.

Rats! I missed all this fun! I will play next time. I like how all the clue words related to the answer!
Thanks, doll! Great to have you back!

I had alloy and was totally stuck — figured the answer, but didn’t think that I had any of the jumbled words wrong! Good one!!
Lesley, had missed you and was hoping you were OK.
Take care of the fort, ladies!
