Clue/Question: After being awakened by the baby so many times that they couldn’t get any sleep, the parents said this.
Answer: FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
(A beautiful sixteen letter answer! For a few seconds, I was actually intimidated a little! But, Jeff conveyed it perfectly, with the drawing of the father, in the background, saying: What is her deal, tonight? No new clue words, but they were all jumbled well. They all came to me very quickly, though. The answer letter layout was masterful. My kids, and two grandkids so far, have responded very favorably to my dancing them back to sleep. Just a gentle, rhythmic four count seemed to do the trick. Sometimes with a corresponding light patting on the back. Babies generally like yer old uncle! But, that kind of work is better suited to a younger crowd. Part time/short time, hand them off to mom or dad, works best for me these days. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. Sorry about this weekend! The wife’s cousin and her grown children took up Saturday. We all caught up and had a very nice, early dinner at a great Japanese restaurant, on top of a mountain. Great food, a good show, and a couple of Asahis. Then the wife, daughter and I traveled to Long Island yesterday, to see a great beautiful friend, who used to live with us. She fed us all our favorite foods, and we spent a few hours on the beach! And, we got to bring home some very tasty leftovers! — YUR

Unc- I could relate to Sundays jumble both my kids had COLIC, They would scream and cry all night, used to drive them in the car at 2 am and put them in a seat on top of clothes dryer with dryer running to soothe them, or fenel seed soup in bottle….. Nothing worked.. But like anything it passed and they are two great adults. By the way technically the Cross Island Parkway only crosses through Long Island( if you consider Nassau and Suffolk only as Long Island) from Hempstead Ave. until about Linden Blvd., before it turns into the Belt Pkwy. A picture of the L.I.E would be more appropriate but oh how I hate that EXPRESSWAY. Enjoy Wimpy
Sounds like you had a great weekend!!! When I saw all of the blanks for the answer I kinda felt defeated before I started. But, I got the jumbles pretty quickly and fortunately, the answer came pretty close behind. YEA! Some days are definitely easier than others!!
I’m with you, Wimpy! I made a wrong turn and got stuck on the LIE for a bit last night, and hated every minute of it! I can deal with the Southern State and CIP, just fine. I’d hate to be stuck on Long Island during some kind of emergency!
