“Nothing astonishes men so much as common sense and plain dealing.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
(I had a hard time getting started on this one. No single letter words. Only one word ending up ending in E. And, I didn’t even see COMMON until I ruled out LETTER, BETTER, FOLLOW and then, finally, COTTON. COTTON brought me to – my senses? – COMMON, which then made it possible to figure out NOTHING – it’s funny how figuring out nothing can mean everything – and the ING in DEALING. Now that it’s done I can see that FIXFI is SENSE, but before that . . . bupkis! I didn’t even see Ralph Waldo Emerson until I was about 2/3s done, and I usually complain when the author is too obvious. Very challenging, for me. How about you guys? Did this give you a hard time too? Be well and do good, friends. Happy Father’s Day.) — YUR
