I guess David L is giving ralis95 some time off. None of the clue words were all that difficult. The answer letter layout was good, and the answer made for a good pun.
How many of you guys are going to run out and sign up for a membership to “Sweatie’s Gym”? Huh? Not many. I know the boys are trying to expand their Jumble empire, but I don’t think “Sweatie’s” is going to add much to their bottom line. Maybe they should work on something called “Jumble Gyms”, where you have to perform certain exercises/physical activities to get individual elements of a Jumble, and/or other word game. Each jumbled clue word would require the completion of a specific task, determined either by a trainer, or the individual exerciser – once he/she reaches a certain level – before advancing to the next activity and jumbled clue word, culminating with viewing the cartoon and clue/question. Most gyms have a variety of monitors linked to various exercise machines already, so it would take incorporating some fairly simple computer programs to make it work. It would be a great way to work both the body and the mind. Of course the name would be a play on the words jungle gym, the structures that kids climb on, and also the old Johnny Weissmuller character, Jungle Jim, from his post-Tarzan years. AACCCKKKK, abrupt again…gave me a hard time the first time around and about fits this time, then I thought — wait a minute, didn’t I just have this same puzzling experience — so I looked back on my puzzles I’d just finished up and there it was — abrupt — guess I cheated! But I liked the puzzle. I always did enjoy the Tarzan movies. Wasn’t there also a TV show?
