Visual Description:  Someone who would never work at Uncle Rave’s Cars!

YAMLD  =  MADLY,  FIUNY  =  UNIFY,  ANUDIP  =  UNPAID,  BEELBP  =  PEBBLE   —   Giving us:  YUYUBB

Clue/Question:  How the pushy salesman said hello.

Answer:  BUYBUY

(No new clue words, today, but they were all well-jumbled.  It took me a few looks to come up with “unpaid”.  The answer letter layout was fine.  Not a lot you can do to hide a repetitive 3 letter pun answer.  The cartoon thoroughly conveyed the theme of the puzzle . . . as usual.

I’d like to take a moment to mention the passing of a friendly neighbor of mine, Mr. Ronald S. Sabo.  Ron Sr. – Ronald the Elder – was the kind of neighbor everyone wants to have.  Warm and friendly, socially conscious, a good: husband, father, uncle and grandfather, and he took great pride in his home and property.  He loved to work in his yard, but he never missed the opportunity to stop what he was doing to converse with a passing neighbor.  We’d talk about local and national politics, the crazy weather, a little light neighborhood gossip, our pets, and of course our kids.  The last few years were pretty tough on him, having survived a few strokes, but he always projected a very positive attitude.  He still had that passion for living, laughing and loving.  Like far too many people, he would succumb to a form of cancer.  In Ron’s case it was advanced colon cancer.  Fortunately, for all involved, his battle with it was not long and drawn out.  He was gone in a matter of four short weeks.  It’s always hard saying goodbye, though.  He mattered to a lot of people.  He was a good man and a good neighbor, and he will be missed.   Rest in peace, Ron.  Say hello to Star and Princess for me!
