(A little history lesson, for an Easter morning!  I’d never heard of Hans Wilsdorf before, but I figured he had to play a role in today’s puzzle.  Otherwise, it could have been a statue of almost anyone!  Before looking him up, I thought he might have been the author of The Day The Earth Stood Still, which is really just a movie.  The movie, though, is based on a short story, Farewell to the Master, by Edmund H. North.  But, no, Hans was a master watchmaker and the founder of the Rolex watch company.  Cool.  I guess we do learn something new every day.

There were three new additions to the ralis95 clue word database, and they were surprisingly simple words.  They are “lately”, “writer” and “proper”.  I would of thought that “mussel” and “utopia” might have been new, because they’re not quite as common as the others, but they are already in the database.  The answer letter layout was a work of art.  I don’t think it gave anything away.  A nice Sunday Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

    Hello
I have left two comments about this site or blog and have not received an answer (I might have missed it. Are you planning on discontinuing this site and this wonderful service. If so, please tell me, if you can ,why, and what are your plans. Anyone planning on continuing this legacy?
I found this site by accident, I have been doing these jumble puzzles for about 2 years. One day, I couldn’t figure out the answer to the cartoon, so I went on google, typed in the puzzle comment, and low and behold your site came up. I have been addicted every since. I enjoy your words “do well, be good” we need more of those reminders everyday, not to mention the answers! Being Canadian, the football addiction amongst americans is very interesting, also strange!
