Angels descending, bring from above, echoes of mercy, whispers of love.”   —   Fanny J. Crosby

(No single letter words, no THE or ARE, and not even a single T in the entire quote.  Very poetic line, though.  Excellent choice for a cryptoquote!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(You can always tell from the details of the cartoon characters whether the Jumble is just generic, or specific to some: movie, TV show, historical figure, or some buddies of Jeff Knurek.  Today, he has given us Stephan Pastis, the creator of Pearls Before Swine, a nationally syndicated cartoon/comic strip.  My newspaper does not carry it, but I am familiar with it.  My guess is that they’re buddies, probably because they’re in the same business, but I guess they could just be Facebook friends.  Maybe Jeff will grace this humble blog, with some clarification.  Apparently, Stephan was a lawyer for a time, but gave it up, for a more rewarding passion.  Don’t know who JG is.  Looks a little like Tim Robbins, but maybe he’s just Stephan’s old boss.  Not sure if the disgruntled client is supposed to be anyone in particular, either.  Maybe all three are friends of Jeff.

Looks like there were no new clue words, today, though they were all well jumbled.  The answer letter layout was alright.  Not too difficult to figure out today’s answer.

That’s about it, guys.  Looks like there might be a temporary reprieve to shutting this blog down.  We’ll just take it one day at a time, I guess.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
