(The answer letter layout was stellar, today!  I think this Hoyt kid has finally gotten the hang of things!  The only clue word jumble that I take issue with is for the word “engine”.  I always phonetically sound out the jumbled words, so NNGIEE was just too easy for me.  EEGNNI would have caused me to think a little longer and harder.  Our friend ralis95 can add “accuse” to the clue word database.  We’ve had another Ice Hockey themed Jumble, starring Wayne Gretzky, some time over the last four years.  I don’t think this is exactly a re-run, but I’d be surprised if the earlier one did NOT have the word goal in it.  Today is the 18th anniversary of Gretzky breaking Gordie Howe’s record, by scoring his 802nd career NHL goal.  He broke the record as a L.A. Kings player, but finished his playing career in a Rangers jersey.  It’s always someone’s birthday, but in the world of sports today is Jason Kidd, Mark Buerhle and Maurice Jones-Drew’s birthday.  Happy 90th birthday to Marty Allen.  I didn’t realize he was still with us.  Today is also – sadly – the one year death anniversary of Elizabeth Taylor.  Lindsay Lohan is supposed to be playing her in a biopic on the Lifetime Network.  Could be interesting.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
