Clue/Question:  He refused to draw the Jumble cartoon because the idea behind it wasn’t this.

Answer:  “PUNNY“ ENOUGH

(First time, in a long time, that the two five letter words were tougher to get than the two six letter words!  And, oddly enough, they are both new to the ralis95 clue word database.  I had the hardest time getting “along” – and my Kindergarten teacher said that I played so well with others – and I saw “psych” right away, but I couldn’t believe it was an eligible word.  It IS in the dictionary, but it’s actually more of an abbreviation/root word than a stand alone word.  I’m sure that purists are up in arms, but like I said, it’s in the dictionary.  If they’re allowing “psych” then maybe they should not allow “along”, because the letters also spell ANGLO.  Hmm!?!  Everything was well jumbled and the answer letter layout was nice and cryptic . . . the way that diehards prefer!  Dave looks like quite the goofus in today’s cartoon, while Jeff is taking charge of the situation.  Looking at the # of visits, as I signed on this afternoon, it looks like a number of you had some difficulty with today’s puzzle.  That’s kind of funny, because we often discuss the punnyness of the answer.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
