RLIGL = GRILL, EVNOM = VENOM, CLINHF = FLINCH, BARTEY = BETRAY — Giving us: LLEOMFHTA
Clue/Question: In a leap year, which months have 29 days?
Answer: ALL OF THEM
(One of the oldest gags in the book! But, there are always a few who fall for it. I wasn’t too happy with the jumbling of “venom”. Just a little too obvious. A word as simple as “grill” is actually new to the ralis95 clue word database, though. I almost had to back into “betray”! I was actually starting to write down combinations, starting with betray, but only because I was mentally verbalizing it as bet-ray. That might be a personal little quirk of mine with six letter jumbles, trying to go 3 and 3. I’ll have to remember that the next time I get a little stumped on one of those. The answer letter layout was pretty good today. No complaints there. The woman in the cartoon looks a little like Luann‘s mom, in the comic strip Luann, by Greg Evans. Actually, kind of a combination of Luann’s mom and Luann’s guidance counselor. The guy has a little Carl Sagan, or maybe Neil Diamond, going on. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
