Cartoon of the journalist and writer Hunter S....

Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.”   —   Hunter Thompson

(Wow.  This is my first Hunter S. Thompson quote.  This guy was definitely a character.  I don’t think many people could keep up with this dude!  He is very quotable though.  The Doonesbury character “Duke” is loosely based on Hunter Thompson.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  And, Happy Birthday to Bernadette Peters!  From the late ’70s to early ’80s I thought she was one of the hottest – smokin’ – singer/actresses going!  Also, John Turturro is 55 today.  Great character actor  —  right up there with Bruce Dern.  And, Rae Dawn Chong???  How can Tommy’s little girl be 51???      YUR

(Cute.  Kind of a shame to waste such great clue words on such a short, and pretty obvious answer, but whadayagonna do?!  “Graph” is only so-so, but the jumbled word reminds me that I’d love to travel to Prague some day!  Such a cool city.  There’s just something about the word “strum” that I’ve always loved.  Probably because since I was a wee-small one I’ve always loved the song I’ve Been Working on the RailroadI really need to meet me a girl named Dinah, some day.  I was a little surprised to see that “exceed” is new to the ralis95 clue word database, but I was very happy that Hoyt gave us the word “toddle”.  People don’t use the word that much, but it’s a great descriptive word.  In fairness to the character in the cartoon, maybe he’s in need of all the extra stuff you get in a latte, because you certainly don’t get any more caffeine, than with an espresso.  A 1 Starbucks Grande Caffe Latte contains 9.38 mgs of caffeine per fluid ounce, whereas 2 the USDA value for Espresso coffee is 64 mg caffeine per fluid ounce.  Don’t you just hate it when yer Uncle Rave spews data at you that just burst yer bubble?!?!  LOL!  Shut Up!  You’ll take mah learnin’ an’ you’ll like it!  Ya hear?!  Now, git on wit yer day.  There’s nuthin’ more t’ see here.  ‘Cept mebe some related articles.  OK, hang out . . . if ya like.  The Cryptoquote Spoiler is comin’ up next!  Be well and do good, friends.  Listen to yer uncle.)   —   YUR
