(Is it hot in here, or is it just me?  Another 13 letter answer, today!  Very clever, guys.  I wonder how many of our fellow Jumble fanatics realize that Death Valley is the lowest elevation in North America?!?!  It is way below sea level, and it always registers the hottest temperature in all of the Western hemisphere.  Who said that word games weren’t educational?   I think I drove through some of it, on my way from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, last year.  I’m just glad I was in an air conditioned car . . . and it was only March.

No new clue words today, but the jumbling was good all around.  The answer letter layout was excellent, and the cartoon conveys both heat and desertedness.  Is that our pal Jeff on stage?  Does Death Valley hold concerts for wannabe rock stars?  If so, then sign me up!  Just bring me a bucket!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
