Clue/Question:  The mime wanted to expand his business and was looking for a . . .

Answer:  SILENT PARTNER

(Raymond Joseph Teller, moonlighting as a banker . . . but, not as a teller!  I love it!  Very good likeness, Jeff.  Teller, being the quiet member – aka: today’s answer – of the famous illusionist/comedy team Penn & Teller.  Very clever puzzle theme.  All four clue words would be considered new to the ralis95 clue word database.  I thought that both “tendon” and “paused” were very well jumbled.  Past tense verbs are with us to stay, people!  The answer letter layout gave absolutely nothing away, so this jumble was challenging on a number of levels.  Be well and be good, friends.)   —   YUR
