Visual Description: Adman pitching an incompletion.
SOJIT = JOIST, FDYFA = DAFFY, SLTUCP = SCULPT, PPEMIL = PIMPLE — Giving us: ISDASUTPPE
Clue/Question: The quarterback did this after being presented with the endorsement deal.
Answer: PASSED IT UP
(Much better, today! Though NOT a new word, “joist” is not a word most of use very often. Not unless you’re a carpenter, or something. Surprisingly, both “pimple” and “daffy” are new to the database. “Sculpt” is a great word, but fairly obvious, considering there are five consonants and only one vowel, and that vowel is a U. Perhaps it could have been jumbled better. Tough call. The answer letter layout didn’t give anything away, and that’s always a welcome sight. I’m betting that a good number of you had to work some to get today’s answer. Not like yesterday’s. Yesterday I had the fewest weekday visits that I can remember. Which is a little strange, because I’ve seen a significant increase in my subscriptions. I’m up about 25% since October. Maybe it’s the wind up to Christmas crunch time? Maybe there’s a newer jumble spoiler site out there?? Maybe some have just lost interest? It bears watching. If this is the beginning of a trend I may have to consider shutting this blog down. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. I’d rather feature “Mighty Mouse” than “Tom Terrific”. Besides, Flutie Flakes set the trend for these kind of sponsored products. — YUR

Living in Indianapolis, it’s dangerous to be a Tom Brady fan. But since the Colts aren’t playing this season, I’ll openly cheer on my fellow wolverine. Go Blue!

OK, OK, I did visit yesterday, but your spoilers weren’t up yet, like the day before. (Maybe I’m getting up earlier on the west coast than you are on the east). Anyway, I always try to visit, not necessarily for the answers to check my own work, but more to read your lively banter. Now, today, I got up later and voila, I found you had posted both Crypto and Jumbles by the time I got to the computer.
I’ve said it before, but have a very Merry Christmas and an equally Happy New Year! (And don’t you dare think anymore about dropping your webpage!!)
