(Very nice.  None of today’s clue words are new to the database, but everything was well jumbled.  Mr. Hoyt is doing a superlative job with the answer letter layout.  He’s got plenty on his plate, but he knows how demanding we Jumble solvers are.  Jeff did a great job with the cartoon, conveying the broader scope of a military airbase.   Never “submit” to “style”, nor be “tardy” with your opinions, if you wish to “attain” individuality.  This is the kind of thing our old friend Richard would send in, as a comment.  We haven’t heard from him in quite a while.  Too bad.  I hope that he is still with us.  Well, the “war” in Iraq is now “officially” over, for what that’s worth.  Leon Panetta tried to paint as rosy a picture as possible, during a very low-key ceremony, but most rank and file Iraqis weren’t buying the platitudes.  Gee, I wonder why?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
