(Some people swear by these guys, other people call them quacks.  I’ve had a bad back, off and on, for most of my life, but I’ve never been to one.  I’ve always stuck to orthopedic docs, for better or worse.  Like a lot of things, I guess it’s all in how you were raised.  Tell you what, I could use a good adjustment – or a massage – right about now!  I don’t know if it’s a delayed reaction from cutting and moving a big tree trunk last week, or the flu setting in, but my back has been killing me the last few days.  Ahh.  I’ll survive.

It looks like three brand new clue words today, with “tongs”, “clinch” and “jalopy” not appearing on the ralis95 databases!  And, it looks like we have seen “clout” before, but with a different jumbling.  Today’s answer letter layout was fantastic.  I don’t think anybody got any help there.  Also, a long – 12 letter – answer is a little unusual for a Monday.  But, I enjoyed the pun, as well as Jeff’s little joke with the name of the clinic.  Nice way to start off the week, guys.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
