Answer: GOT AROUND TO IT

(I seem to remember, back in the late ’80s – early ’90s, novelty shops would sell, and I suppose certain businesses would give away, these round discs – about 3 inches around – that read “TOIT” on one side. On the other side, in smaller print, it said something like “Now you’ve got a round TOIT . . . so get to work!” Or, maybe the second part – after the . . . – said “No more excuses!” They may have inspired the casual procrastinator, but they just annoyed the crap out of the professional procrastinators, such as myself.
Good Sunday Jumble. Clue words were all well jumbled. I really liked “batten”, “assure” and “acidic”! And, the answer letter layout was good . . . again. Very detailed and active cartoon. One might think the guy in the lower right corner is giving a little misdirection, but Jeff has done his homework. He remembered that one of Magellan’s goals was finding a western route to the “Spice Islands“. Magellan’s boys made it all the way around the world, but Ferdy himself was offed by some Filipinos. And this concludes today’s history lesson. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
