(NBA Lockout.  There’s nothing to talk about.  And besides, the game just ain’t what it used to/should be, anyway.  I was spoiled by the likes of Willis Reed and Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul Jabbar, John Havlicek and Walt Frazier, and especially Oscar Robertson and Jerry West.  There have been other great players since, and I still will watch – come playoffs – but my golden years were the late ’60s through the ’70s.  They still played by the rules in those days, and it was more of a team sport.  Today?  Don’t get me started.  Peace.)   —   YUR

(And you guys thought that I couldn’t get it up this early, on a Saturday!  And, for all of you peeps with your minds in the gutter, that’s NOT what I’m talking about!  I hope today’s clue words had nothing to do with the guys meeting yer Uncle Rave, last weekend!  I thought I sucked it in pretty well, when we were taking pictures.  Anyway . . . good jumbling – I get a penny every time I say jumbling, instead of scrambling – all around.  I had to think some in getting “aiming”, the others came right away.  The answer letter layout was brilliant!  No giveaway there.  And, it’s a cute cartoon.  You have to admit that the guy does look like Ralph Kramden.  Right?  Is he looking for Alice???  Of the original cast only Joyce Randolph (Trixie) survives.  From the later Jackie Gleason Show skits, Sheila MacRae (Alice) is still kickin’ too.  And, they’re both 87 years old!  Hang in there, ladies.  We still love ya!  Be well and do good, my friends.)   —   YUR
