Clue/Question: The truck salesman needed to work on his . . .
Answer: PICKUP LINES
(Wow! I really needed a lot of self-control this morning, to prevent me from looking at the cartoon and clue, before unscrambling the clue words. Today’s main character was really over-the-top! He’s got it all! The poofed up pompadour, the sideburns, the soul-patch, the wild glasses, the Elvis-type shirt, cowboy boots

AND oversized TCOB – Taking Care Of Business – belt buckle are just too funny! You can almost smell the cheap cologne. Possibly Hai Karate! This cat thinks he’s smooth as a gravy sandwich! Day-yum! And, little sista just ain’t havin’ it. Uh uh! She look like she fixin’ to go upside his haid. I hope this dude knows how to duck. Brother Jeff has outdone himself, today. And, wouldn’t you know it? All the clue words were well jumbled, and the answer letter layout was sublime. Our old friend Richard might say: This “chump”, named “Slash”, doesn’t “shrink”, even though he has obviously “tipped” his hand. Yer uncle is authorizing you guys to put this one in the Jumble Hall of Fame. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Way to go! Catching the TCOB!
I agree, YUR, this was one of the best Jumbles ever! And…I have run across quite a few guys like that salesman in my lifetime! I zipped through the clue words and got lazy on the solution and cheated. Bad PICKUP LINE for sure coming from that salesman!
Hmmm! Sounds to me like you might be *a looker*. 😉
I knew that someone, besides me, had to appreciate the completeness of yesterday’s Jumble. Ya see, Jeff? Ya got a big thumbs up from the lady, Lesley, as well.
