Visual Description: Paying respects to those who have served our country.
WDETO = TOWED, RUYRH = HURRY, EENEZS = SNEEZE, LDOUEM = MODULE — Giving us: OWDHRRNEEOE
Clue/Question: After seeing so many people turn out for the parade, the veterans . . .
Answer: WERE HONORED
(. . . and rightly so. I didn’t need to back into anything today! And, I didn’t even have to write out any of the clue words. I reserved some judgment on “towed”, saw “hurry” and “sneeze” right away, and had to think a little to get “module”. New word, ralis? Everything was jumbled well and the answer letter layout didn’t spill the beans! And, of course a great drawing, showing what looks like three generations of our veterans. Very nice tribute, guys! Let’s all look forward to the day when these parades will not be populated with active duty participants. Be well and do good, my friends.) — YUR

First, thank you, Dad, for your service in the Marines in the 1950’s, and to my step-son 18+ years Army and still serving! Excellent tribute by the guys! I thought TOWED was DOTED! Duh! So solution was a problem! I got HONORED, but what does TREE mean? No W, so I was confused! I had to cheat!
That’s why I’m here, kid!
Are you and your sis going up to New Paltz?
YUR:
SNEEZE & MODULE are both new. The solution was obvious, but MODULE threw me completely. For some reason, I didn’t see it, and couldn’t back into it. But my flag is up along with one of my neighbors. They should be up all over town, but we’ll see if that happens. Say hello to Jeff for me, if you make it to New Paltz. Tell him the database is now over 2530. Thanks for the plug yesterday.
Best,
