Visual Description: Un-engaging instructor with disengaged teens.
FSTIH = SHIFT, WOCNL = CLOWN, EBCDUR = CURBED, ASNKHE = SHAKEN — Giving us: SFCLOCUDAKE
Clue/Question: The photography teacher had everything he needed, but his students . . .
Answer: LACKED FOCUS
(Wow! Another great day of tough clue words! Well, I thought “clown” was pretty easy, but the other three were a little different, and really well scrambled. I actually had the most difficulty getting “shift”. I didn’t have to back into it, but it was the last word I was able to get. Nothing given away in the answer letter layout. Great cartoon. The answer itself was, again, a little obvious. But, hey! It is the weekend after all! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. Yer Uncle has lacked a little focus lately when it comes to his email. Sincere apologies! I meant to respond immediately, but I’m always getting distracted! — YUR

Tell me what stir crazy has to do with thunderclaps and I will read your fab blog till Xmas, stknha.
I kept wanting to put an adjective in front of FOCUS instead of a verb, thus my difficulty in getting the final solution. It’s not easy to FOCUS when weather is so gorgeous!
@ Anonymous,
Not sure where you’re coming from. Something to do with pubsub?

Anon-You’re confusing us because you’re talking about the online Jumble which had a mix up on Sunday’s puzzle. We don’t put the real Sunday Jumble online because of the six letters to unjumble. It would be a whole different programming. The Kid’s Jumble artwork got placed where they would normally put an old Jumble. It got mixed up, so you were confused. Thanks for Jumbling!
Thanks, for un-confusing me/us(?), Jeff! I was beginning to feel a little like Dan Rather after his bizarre “mugging”, back in the 1986.
