Visual Description: Typical scene from the original (Classic) Star Trek series.
OLIOG = IGLOO, RLCKE = CLERK, DYOFLN = FONDLY, EMHBUL = HUMBLE — Giving us: IGERDB
Clue/Question: The creator of “Star Trek” built one to reach new audiences.
Answer: A BRIDGE
(As a semi old fart, I gotta love the send-up to one of the most iconic shows of television history. Very convincing likenesses of Uhura, Spock, Kirk, Checkov and Sulu. All the characters that you would typically see on the bridge of the starship Enterprise. Well . . . everyone except the unlucky guy, or girl, who gets killed in the first three minutes of almost every episode that is. Nice job, Jeff! Every clue word was well scrambled, but I found them to be extremely easy. Maybe I’m just getting a little jaded? Also, I didn’t even need to write out the answer letters. But, looking at what I typed above, I have to say that the answer letter layout gave nothing away. And as Martha always say “It’s a good thing.” That’s about it, friends. Be well, and do your best to do good.) — YUR
PS. What??? You were expecting a “Live long, and prosper.”? Now, would yer old uncle stoop that low? 😉

I saw “oligo” first, instead of “igloo”. There goes my mind being all science-y again. “Oligo” isn’t a real word anyway, we just use it as one in scientific literature sometimes. It’s actually just a prefix. I didn’t think they’d make the word THAT easy, with just two of the letters switched, so I had a feeling I was wrong anyway. P.S. Mine said “oliog”, not “oilog” ??
Oops! You’re right, Angie! Fixed it. Thanks!
