Visual Description: An outtake from Covert Affairs?
TAOLWU = OUTLAW, PAUCNK = UNPACK, GEEDPL = PLEDGE, PEYTDU = DEPUTY, SSLHAP = SPLASH, CTINEE = ENTICE — Giving us: UTACKPEEPPHIC
Clue/Question: If the spy didn’t want to get caught breaking in, she’d have to do this.
Answer: PICK UP THE PACE
(I really enjoyed “deputy” and “entice”. None of the clue words were too hard to get, but they were all well-scrambled. Also, the answer letter layout gave nothing away. The cartoon has a European feel to it, and our spy is wearing the classic trench coat. Of course, she is picking the lock on the door, but besides that there is no unnecessary “bonus clue”, which makes yer uncle very happy. Enjoy your Sunday, folks. Be well and do good.) — YUR

This puzzle was HARD, but I like that it made my mushy retired brain think! I went crazy for a long time on OUTLAW, but husband got it in less than 15 seconds with only hearing the letters! He proceeded to strut about the yard all full of himself over that one! We laughed and laughed! I got the other 5 words pretty quickly, but the solution was so difficult! Husband cheated by looking at this Spoiler and told me that the first word started with P. I figured out the rest in about 10 minutes! We rode our bikes to the beach for a celebritory drink on the Boardwalk! I like that the guys made the spy a gal! Good puzzle all around!
Glad to hear you’re enjoying life, kid!
