No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.”   —   Heraclitus

(I love this quote.  It has a Zen quality to it!  Dig it!  Keep you minds open, friends.  Even let them fall out, from time to time.  You can take it!)   —   YUR

Jumble Spoiler – 09/24/11

NYC - MoMA: Pablo Picasso's Card Player

Visual Description:  One card player’s last hand.

RDNBA  =  BRAND,  LASAI  =  ALIAS,  RALWYM  =  WARMLY,  TREERF  =  FERRET   —   Giving us:  BADLIWRLFEE

Clue/Question:  The poker player’s wager would soon cause him to do this.

Answer: ??? —  BID FAREWELL

(I just got it!!!  I was going to throw in the towel, and ask you guys for help, when it finally hit me!  I was starting to write down all the three letter words I had tried – BAD, LIE, FEW, DIE, RID, RED, ALL, AIL and ILL – and right after typing BAD I thought . . . BID!  How the heck did I miss that?  I got all the clue words without a problem, but I was pretty much down for the count on the answer.  Never say DIE, friends!  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR
