Jumble Spoiler – 09/23/11

Clue/Question:  After some big swings during the week, the Dow Industrials had . . .

Answer:  AVERAGED OUT

(The clue words were well scrambled, yet fairly easy.  The answer letter layout was great.  And, I thought this was a fairly challenging puzzle.  I had figured the first word would end in ED, and then I decided the second word had to be OUT.  From there I was able to solve the rest.  Very good, guys.  Very timely.  Do you guys also give out financial advice?

I have to apologize for today’s delay.  I did this by my usual time in the AM, but I was dealing with setting up a doctors appointment.  Don’t worry, it’s just a bad case of poison ivy.  And I was dealing with an upsetting form of betrayal, that took up far too much of my time.  The particulars are not all that important, or interesting, so I will spare you all the details.  Sorry, guys.  I’ll try to be more timely tomorrow.  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR
