Clue/Question: He was one of the most-liked pool players due to his good . . .
Answer: TABLE MANNERS
(Very nice answer letter layout. No giveaways. No gimmes with any of the clue words. For me “slant” was the easiest, then “embark”. Both “admit” and “attend” took some thought. Maybe, because they both start with “A”, or maybe just because the were well scrambled. Good cartoon, with the only clue being the two guys’ cordiality. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. More than 340 – and counting – visits were generated since yesterday as a result of people querying the unscrambling of “buafil”. — YUR

Very challenging today! I had to back into EMBARK, and ATTEND took awhile! I played pool a lot as a kid in my best friend’s basement. Today I would not do so well!! HA!
It’s definitely something you have to do regularly, in order to keep the *touch*! Like so many sports.
