(I think that today’s politicians might disagree with this statement.  Of course, even those who start out with the best intentions eventually succumb to the pressure from the lobbyists.  I wonder which one is the most powerful and nefarious of the lobbies.  ExxonMobil, Koch Industries, AIPAC, etc.???  Maybe I should take a poll.)   —   YUR
