The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.”   —   John Buchan

(Another great quotation, from another interesting individual, whom I was previously unfamiliar with.  Am I going to catch heat for ending a sentence with a preposition?    This guy led a very interesting and productive life.  I’m sure he’s much better known in Canada and Scotland.  All that most Americans might know him is for his The Thirty Nine Steps.  For me, he nailed fishing!)   —   YUR

Visual Description:  A couple hoping they’ve struck real estate treasure.

Clue/Question:  They bought the subdivision parcel because they thought it had this.

(Not all that tough, but not bad.  I breezed through all of the clue words.  None of them appeared to be anything new, but some good scrambling was going on.  The answer letter layout was top notch!  But, I felt like there was a little verbal overkill, with the realtor using the word “appreciate” and the wifey saying “under-priced”.  That kind of screamed “value”, to me.  Also, the picture of the vacant/available lot, along with the clue/question’s use of “subdivision parcel” pretty much gives you the other key word in the answer.  The drawing is funny, because the house pretty near completion, kind of looks like a barn/part of a farm.  With the irony being that this is very likely one-time farm land that they’re building on.  And, don’t get me started on this issue!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
