Visual Description: Jeff Knurek, starring in a What’s Missing From This Picture game.
HITGF = FIGHT, HTIFE = THIEF, DIORON = INDOOR, RVGOEN = GOVERN — Giving us: FTIEFNDER
Clue/Question: With two almost identical drawings, today’s Jumble puzzle is this.
Answer: DIFFERENT
(Ooh, ooh! I know! I know! The bottom picture has a . . . pencil on the desk, above the drawing! I’m a good boy, I am. LOL! You should send this into Highlights Magazine, or maybe even Sesame Street, Jeff! All the clue words seemed very familiar today, but they were all well-scrambled. And, the layout of the answer letters gave nothing away. Open-minded puzzle solvers appreciate the occasional deviation from the norm. Be well and do . . . random acts of kindness, friends.) — YUR
I like surprises like this double-trouble picture puzzle! I got the clue words just fine, but after 9 holes of golf for the first time in 5 years, I had no gumption to figure out DIFFERENT!
No “gumption”??? Who are you, Foghorn Leghorn??? Yosemite Sam??? LOL! Reminds me of one of my favorite Bugs/Yosemite Sam scenes, where a defeated and dejected Sam says: “Ah’m a Hessian with no aggression.” I’m so glad I didn’t have to grow up with the CRAP cartoons of the last 20 – 30 years! The cartoons of the ’30s through the ’60s are SO much better!
