Visual Destruction: Bride and groom with their financial fancies.
NGIOG = GOING, USEQT = QUEST, BREIGL = GERBIL, RIMONF = INFORM — Giving us: GEERRM
Clue/Question: When the economist and the banker got married, they hoped theirs would prosper.
Answer: MERGER
(Two easy clue words, and two more challenging ones! It took me a little longer to get “gerbil” than it did “inform”, but both were fun. I wonder if our friend, Lesley, had any trouble getting “inform”??? Great scrambling all around, and a classic Jumble scenario. Enjoy the weekend, friends. Be well and do good.) — YUR

Haaa! Not much trouble with INFORM! It took me about 6 tries, and words that start with vowels aren’t much of a problem for me anymore, but I am struggling with consonants that come in the middle of words unexpectedly or consonants that make different sounds than usual. GERBIL I had to back into after I got MERGER. The “G” in GERBIL was an issue for me because it did not have the “hard” G sound like it does in the word GO. Full moon again tonight, I hope, because I missed it last night! Enjoy the weekend.
It was glorious last night, kid! What I hoped to see was the Perseid meteor shower, but they kept saying the bright moonlight was going to obscure it, so I didn’t even attempt to watch. Dumb. Tonight it might be a little overcast, because they’re calling for rain for tomorrow. Good luck.
