“Give a girl the right pair of shoes and she can conquer the world.” — Marilyn Monroe
(Whimsical. And, perhaps the inspiration for Sex In The City? This Spring I visited the Pierce Bros Westwood Village Memorial Park, where Marilyn and a whole slew of other Hollywood celebrities are “buried”. It’s crazy, because it’s so small and it’s hidden away behind towering highrises. You actually have to know where to look for it. It’s a fun, fast and free attraction, that most visitors to L.A. seldom see. Visiting cemeteries is not exactly my idea of a lot of fun, but I highly recommend it. ) — YUR
PS. Congrats, Pat! You submitted a comment (twice) with the answer to today’s Jumble and Cryptoquote, prior to my posting them. (Actually, it was while I was composing the Jumble Spoiler) You’re new, so we’ll excuse this breech of spoiler etiquette just this one time. From time to time, I may require some help from my fellow puzzle devotees, but I’ll come out and ask for it. I’m glad for you, but I don’t accept unsolicited help. But, feel free to comment on anything I’ve posted, or other comments. — YUR
