Clue/Question:  Viewing the solar explosions through the telescope became difficult when . . .

(I liked it!  A nice variety of interesting, well-scrambled clue words.  13 answer letters, laid out so there’s no giveaways.  And, a cute cartoon.  A little unnecessarily wordy perhaps, but still good.  Maybe the words “plasma” and “gamma rays” and “radiating . . . negative energy” were meant to throw us off a little.  You know.  Look for something more scientific.  But, maybe not.  Solar explosions are more commonly known as solar flares, so the phrasing of the clue/question, I guess, would’ve been a big clue for most.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend, friends.  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR
