“I don’t know what you could say about a day in which you’ve seen four beautiful sunsets.” — John Glenn
(Probably THE first, and maybe THE greatest, American hero of my lifetime! Navy and Marine pilot, who flew numerous combat missions in WWII and Korea. He even flew a number of missions with the great Ted Williams, of Boston Red Sox fame. Probably best known as an astronaut who was the third American in space, and the first American to orbit the Earth. And, a four term U.S. Senator for the state of Ohio. He also returned to space in 1998, at the age of 77, for the purpose of studying the effects of space flight on the elderly. The man is a Rock Star, in my book! Be well, friends.) — YUR
PS. I missed his birthday last week. Sorry, sir! John Glenn turned 90 on Monday, July the 18th!
