Visual Description: The Knurek family racing against the clock.
AGBYG = BAGGY, PONIA = PIANO, MCITOM = COMMIT, ONIECV = NOVICE — Giving us: AGAITNVC
Clue/Question: Vacationing was fun, but this wasn’t.
Answer: VACATING
(And, so the Knurek family summer vacation saga concludes. It was fun while it lasted, but all good things must come to an end. I liked today’s scrambling of “piano”! And, “novice” took a little thought to get. A little less so with “commit”, and much less so with “baggy”. It was a little strange having the first six letters of the answer in the clue/question, and I don’t want to get into a whole etymology thing, but maybe they were just trying to throw us off a little. Well, at least the purists I mean. Lots of fun, guys! How was the drive home, Jeff? That’s usually a whole other feel. Right? Alright, friends. Move along. There’s nothing more to see here. Peace.) — YUR
