(If you hold – what I think is the crazy assumption – that the Earth is the only planet where “life” exists, as many religious fundamentalists seem to believe, then you’d think that you would take stewardship of this planet much more seriously.  But, no.  It seems that too many people who think this way are entrenched in the belief that God gave man dominion over all the earth.  When you keep taking, and you keep befouling, you are eventually going to reach that point where life cannot go on.  Be responsible, friends.)   —   YUR

(Very good.  The only clue word that took me any time was “attest”, but it was fun figuring it out.  I was a little surprised that the answer had so few letters – because I never look at the cartoon until after I unscramble the clue words and line up the answer letters – but I thought that they were scrambled very well.  Are these some of your uncles, Jeff?  Arguing at the annual 4th of July family picnic?  Similar to many Thanksgiving gatherings?!  Ahh, family!  You can’t live with them . . . and disposing of their bodies just takes too much effort.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
