(If you hold – what I think is the crazy assumption – that the Earth is the only planet where “life” exists, as many religious fundamentalists seem to believe, then you’d think that you would take stewardship of this planet much more seriously. But, no. It seems that too many people who think this way are entrenched in the belief that God gave man dominion over all the earth.
