Cryptoquote Spoiler – 06/10/11

(I don’t know about the rest of you out there, but my paper had this cryptoquote set up in the most unusual way.  They did it using 4 lines, with the first line ending in FNP, the second in K, and the third in A.  I initially thought the K and A would have to be I and A, but I also noticed that the second line started with a T.  For a few seconds I thought they might be using a poetic O, but the whole thing looked a little hinky.  In actuality there were no single letter words in the quote.  The SZGS led me to the possibility of “that”, and I was able to figure out the “you” and “your”s, which helped me get “orderly”.  They did something similar the other day with the author.  One line had what would translate to STEV, and the next line had what would translate to EN MORRISSEY.  Either these guys are trying to make these harder on us, or my newspaper is messing with the layout.  Either way, it is making them more difficult to solve.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  ONE–TRACK MIND

(Another nice long answer!  12 answer letters again.  Not super difficult, but there was no give away in the order of the answer letters.  The clue words were well- scrambled, as well.  I did a little double take when I first saw HNITN, but “ninth” actually came to me rather quickly.  That’s it.  Sorry it’s so late.  I had to rebook a flight for my kid.  Do good and be well, friends.)   —   YUR
