(A lot of nice challenging clue words, today! The answer letters were very well scrambled, too. WILCO, Jeff? Gotta run off to a housewarming Memorial Day barbeque. It’s gonna be another hot and steamy one today. Enjoy the day, and the long Memorial Day weekend, friends. Be well and do good.) — YUR
That would most definitely be my boys from WILCO.
Is there any way to get the real Sunday Jumble on line? The one that is shown on the website is not like the one in the paper.
I’m afraid not. The Sunday Jumble is a different format and isn’t put online. It’s actually sold as a different puzzle than the Daily Jumble. Not every paper carries both.
So . . . is the one that I’m “spoiling” THE current Sunday Jumble, and the online one some kind of delayed one?

No, you’re all good. The online puzzles use that day’s puzzle. But the online game doesn’t play the Sunday puzzle. So the programmers grab an old Jumble and use it on Sunday’s. You’re spoiling the current Sunday puzzle found in paper. Hope that makes sense.
Then the Jumble that runs online, on Sundays, is one of the *regular*, 4 clue words (2 five letter & 2 six letter) Jumbles. (a re-run) Instead of the bigger, 6 clue word (all six letter), that we’re getting in the newspapers. Looks like some of the Jumble fans are going to have to break down and buy the Sunday paper! Or, maybe they could go to the library, or somewhere else, and make a photo-copy.
Thanks for the explanation, Jeff.
