Well-whipped quips & commentary.. reminds me of the days
back in the early ’60’s that I’d be reading the Jackson, MS
Clarion-Ledger at the local Keesler AFB PX, eating brekfist and deciphering the Jumble.
My now dead and gone M/sgt dyslexic friend would sneak up
behind me, ‘get it’ and then come back to sit with me
and casually sneak Jumble words into the conversatioin and laff like crazy.
Lawd,I miss ‘puzzle-minded’ sorts…
Worse of it was, I wss SUPPOSED to be a Crypto-sort.
argh.
Now, I’ve got 3 albums of ol’ Bill in his early comedy
