“Almost all absurdity of conduct arises from the imitation of those whom we cannot resemble.” — Samuel Johnson
(Whether or not Osama bin Laden actually did what we have all been led to believe he did, I think it is absurd that people would celebrate his assassination. Have we forgotten that we once condemned those who danced in the streets on 9/11/2001? Osama bin Laden was never charged with any crime stemming from the events of 9/11. You can see this at his profile on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list. Is there some subtle difference between justice being done, and justice being served? Did President Obama carefully parse his words, in this respect? I may not have the answers, but I will not be cowed into not asking the questions. “The most erroneous stories are those we think we know best – and therefore never scrutinize or question.” — Stephen Jay Gould.) — YUR
