Clue/Question: His view from the hot-air balloon looked better in this.
Answer: THE “LIGHT“ OF DAY
(I’m only guessing that the quotation marks around LIGHT are because those balloons are said to be lighter than air. Otherwise, they make no sense whatsoever. Great clue words, today! I’m getting too old to get “young”, but I also have no shame – so “guilt” came to me right away. “Drench” is a great word, but I got it right away, too. I tried to make flannel out of “fallen” until I realized there was only one N. The scrambling of both the clue words and the answer letters has become top-notch! Nothing for yer Uncle to complain about! Nice work, guys. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Hmmm….I didn’t get what they meant by the answer at first either. Maybe because you have to light the flame to have the balloon rise? I also saw flannel first, and drenched took me 30 seconds–most words I get almost instantly. I was trying to put the ed at the end, so that hindered me a bit.
