Confidence in another man’s virtue is no slight evidence of a man’s own.”   —   Michel Montaigne

(A true Renaissance thinker.  Very influential on numerous other great thinker/writers:  Pascal, Descartes, Rousseau, Emerson, Nietzsche, etc., etc.  He was not afraid to doubt conventional “wisdom”.  I think people who question “authority” rock!  But . . . what do I know?)   —   YUR

Visual Description:  How American women celebrate holidays.

HGNEAC  =  CHANGE,  ATOMOT  =  TOMATO,  MFUSOA  =  FAMOUS,  NACEHC  =  CHANCE,  VPIECL  =  PELVIC,  SPAOLT  =  POSTAL   —   Giving us:  ANOTFSHNEICS

Clue/Question:  What she used to buy her designer clothes.

Answer:  HER FASHION CENTS

(Great scrambling!  Clue words and answer letters!  Two “CH” words.  I think I got “postal” so quickly because I had to work a bit to get “pelvic”.  I’m betting there are a number of words that ralis95 will be adding to the database.  Nothing started with a vowel, but there were some challenges today.  The ladies shouldn’t have had much trouble getting the answer!  Tut, tut, tut!  There’s nothing wrong with just a bit of chauvinism . . . is there?  Generic Happy Holidays!  Be well, and do your best to do good.)   —   YUR
