Visual Description: Disorder in the Halitosis of Justice.
LUDTA = ADULT, SIJOT = JOIST, GMLIEN = MINGLE, EDNIRN = DINNER — Giving us: UTJSMGEDIN
Clue/Question: Eating onions before court made him need these.
Answer: “JUDGE MINTS“
(Nice pun! All around good scrambling. I don’t think I’ve ever seen “joist” used before. ralis95 can verify this. Carpenters might have gotten it right away. I didn’t have any trouble with the other three words. I love onions, and I love garlic! Ahh, kissing is overrated, anyways! Be well and do good, folks.) — YUR

JOIST and DINNER were new today, as were STYLE and GRINCH yesterday. The flood continues! New challenges abound. Database now includes 2271 words. I wonder if we can encourage them to try for 2500? At the rate new words are being added, they could reach it by the end of the year.

DINNER? Really? And STYLE? I’m sure we’ve seen STYLE before. But, you should know! David L. Hoyt is adding “new” words at a pretty steady clip. Haven’t heard anything from either one of them in a while.

That’s very cool that I’m adding so many new words. I don’t think anyone had any clue how many common Jumbles were missing from what was being used before. I’m not looking at anything in the past when making these so it’s just luck as to whether or not any word is new. I’m very surprised at the number of new words. I’m betting there’s a ton more.
Loved this puzzle! I flew through it! I even got JOIST quickly! As for garlic and onions…love ’em, but they don’t always love me!
